Heather Khodadadi ('05) is a homeschool mother who has helped many families navigate their homeschooling journeys. Inspired by her experience incorporating books into the classroom while teaching in the school system, she sought similar resources for homeschoolers but found very few stories that reflected their experiences. Five years ago, she wrote The Night Before Homeschool and illustrated it this past winter. Published on June 4, 2026, the book was created to give homeschool families a fun, relatable story they can enjoy reading again and again.
