David Dean (BS Physics, '85) recently returned to Oak Ridge National Laboratory as Chief Science and Technology Strategist in National Security Sciences. Previously, he served for 4.5 years as Deputy Director for Science and Technology and Chief Research Officer at Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility, a world-leading nuclear physics laboratory, where he helped advance scientific research and technology initiatives.
