Legacy Scholarships

Traditions Across Generations & Jimmy Jackson Memorial Scholarships

The Traditions Across Generations (TAG) Legacy Scholarship and the Jimmy Jackson Memorial Scholarship are two distinct scholarship opportunities designed to support legacy students.

Together, these scholarships create a continuum of support for legacy students from freshman through senior year, reinforcing a sense of belonging that spans generations while supporting success at every stage of the undergraduate experience.

Traditions Across Generations Scholarship

The Traditions Across Generations (TAG) Legacy Scholarship celebrates the special bonds that connect UTC families across generations. This scholarship supports students whose parents, stepparent, grandparent, or legal guardian attended the University of Chattanooga or the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

The scholarship recognizes students who are continuing their family’s UTC story while creating traditions of their own. By honoring the legacy of past Mocs and investing in future ones, this scholarship strengthens the lifelong connection between generations of students, alumni, and the University.

Recipients of TAG demonstrate a commitment to the UTC community through their academic pursuits, campus involvement, and leadership. Through the support of alumni and friends, the Traditions Across Generations Legacy Scholarship helps ensure that the Moc spirit continues to inspire and connect generations for years to come.
