While there’s a lot of new on campus and with UTC’s Alumni team, a new monthly alumni newsletter “From the Nest” will help you stay in the loop on all that’s happening.
New Team: The Alumni team is led by Assistant Vice Chancellor of Alumni Affairs Jeff Cogburn, who came to UTC from Clemson University. Jeff has put together an alumni team featuring three stellar UTC alumni who are here to serve all Mocs: Molly Cooper (’98), Director of Alumni Affairs; Lane Gutridge (’22), Alumni Affairs and Special Initiatives Coordinator; and Jamie Alexander (’22), Alumni Affairs Graduate Assistant. As part of the larger Advancement team, Alumni Affairs will focus on opportunities for all alumni, from new grads to retirees, to engage with your alma mater.
New Newsletter: Every month, be on the lookout for “From the Nest” in your inbox. With a collection of original alumni stories and events along with news from campus, we want all Mocs to know what’s happening from their alumni home and ways to get involved.
New Digital Alumni Card: While getting your digital alumni card is not a new option, it is new that UTC is going 100% digital for all alumni cards starting January 2023. With a variety of on campus perks and discounts for being a UT System graduate, you can get your digital alumni card here from our partners at UTAA.
New Ways to Connect: Know a Moc who should be featured in the newsletter? Have ideas on ways you’d like to engage with your alma mater? Need help requesting your digital alumni card? Want to visit campus? Send us an email at alumni@utc.edu give us a call at (423) 425-4785 or stop by the Alumni House – 551 Oak Street. We’d love to hear from you. Go Mocs!
