Creating Community and Choosing Compassion

Kennedy Anderson, a Memphis native, earned both her undergraduate and master’s degrees at UTC. A proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Kennedy found her village on campus and developed a passion for helping others. With plans to become a pediatric medical social worker, she hopes to continue her education and advocate for underserved communities.

Jaiden Grant, a Political Science and Public Service major from Jackson, Tennessee, found her voice through connection and service. From giving campus tours to leading Orientation and serving in SGA and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Jaiden became a familiar face on campus. She’ll begin her next chapter as a Pastoral Resident with The House Ministries, with long-term aspirations of becoming a development director.
